popping noise in the front end please help

Any time i take off in my car there is a loud popping noise coming from the right front wheel. Do you think it would be the sruts need to be replaced? The car has 115,000 miles and still the factory suspension Thanks

Struts should never make a "pop" sound. Usually ball-joints are the culprit, but more-so in while the car is turning. I would really inspect that closely before you drive it much more cause if its a wheel bearing you don't want that going out on you!!

thanks it only does it when going straight it does it when shifting the first few gears

I had that problem with my old mustang. It would make that pop noise everytime the nose of the car went up or down (going over speed bumps, heavy braking, ect) Turned out to be a bushing on the strut was bad. Took all of about 15 minutes to fix.

I dont really hear it when braking or over bumps but it is when the nose of the car comes up. Ill just take it to a shop and let them check it out thanks
