Thanks. I'm getting ready to do mine shortly. I'll get a quart to be on the safe side. Better to much than not enough.

Dang, you bought a whole gallon!!! For future reference - always buy it in their really small containers. That way you avoid losing a whole gallon to contamination. Once a can has been opened, its shelf life is seriously compromised. To extend your gallon shelf life, pour a layer of their thinner in the can (do not mix it in) prior to closing.Thanks, I bought a gallon and actually used half a quart for 3 coats.
It looks good. Did you follow the instructions by etching with metal ready prior to painting?
Thanks for the info...I figured it wouldn't last very long after I opened it with all the warnings they give you about contamination.
I pretty much followed their instructions as closely as possible using both of their prep products: Marine Clean and Metal Ready.
