Dang, you bought a whole gallon!!! For future reference - always buy it in their really small containers. That way you avoid losing a whole gallon to contamination. Once a can has been opened, its shelf life is seriously compromised. To extend your gallon shelf life, pour a layer of their thinner in the can (do not mix it in) prior to closing.
It looks good. Did you follow the instructions by etching with metal ready prior to painting?
