I am new here and this is my first post. I have a 95 cobra.stock bottom end ford b cam cobra intake bbk throttle body 65mm pro m maf 70 mm jms chip with 4 stages under drive pulleys bbk shorty headers bassani of road x flow masters 255 lph pump 24lb injectors 355 gearworld class trans aluminum drive shaft and fly mheel spec clutch. I blew a head gasket and 7 and8 were running together thats where the gasket broke well the metal ring went in my exhaust valve and my valve has been closing on it its wedged some how so im sure that messed up my valve seal. i already took the other head off to take them to be pro. valve done and my question is it worth the money to let him go ahead and port and polish my heads? will i be able to tell the difference or not?how much should i tell him to port? what about shaving the head i heard that would give me more comp. if i have it done and get in my car and can tell a noticable difference i will probaly do it. any thing i should replace or can do it while there in the machine shop?by the way i love this site and be able to talk to other people that love these cars as much as i do.
