Stock upper flows pretty well, 190-200cfm range, but the lower is just very restrictive, flows about 130cfm. Everyone with the TMOSS intake really says it's worth it, about $100, but he does alot of work to it from what I have heard.

it all depends on your setup and plans, if your going to mod down the road consider an aftermarket intake, like ppi its only like 279 now and its an edelbrock rpm ripoff. Although right now you'll lose some power down low cause its a high rpm intake it maybe worth it. But if you only plan on some light mods and want some extra power the tmoss intake is a pretty good deal if you ask me for a streeter.

I run the TMOSS stock lower with my mostly stock motor. It works very well with a 65 TB and a bigger mass air unit. Like said, it's a nice mod for a mild motored car. I'm very happy with mine.

I welded/ported my own, the same way Tmoss does his and since I'm using a pretty conservative engine build, I'd say it's well worth it. My car runs consistent 13's in street trim and I've got less than $4500.00 Canadian into the whole car....that's including a ground up restoration and a fresh paint job. Do it yourself power is always the best. The fast you can go for less money, the more satisfied you will be.
