Ive had my DAP about 6 months and the foam pads that came with it are already coming apart. Where can I buy some quality pads to fit that will do a better job than the foam ones?

I don't know what ones you are using now, but I have the best results using the foam pads from Meguiar's. They were the inventors of foam pads. I use the velcro backing plate that allows me to change pads fast. It allows more choices too.

Mine came with 3 foam pads with the velcro on them but the pad is seperating from the velcro and their coming apart. Im just looking for some better quality pads whether they be foam or something else. I'll have a look at the meguiars ones. Id like to get 3 or 4 pads for cutting, polishing, and finishing.

You can get a set of 3 pads from Meguiars for $24.95. The set has 2 polishing (cutting) pads and 1 finishing pad.

Their warehouse is now located in TN so shipping to Virginia should be pretty reasonable and quick.

My preference would be for the Meguiars pads but, another source is Proper Auto Care. They sell a wider varietly of pads although they are a bit more expensive.

There is also the line of Sonus pads that are sold at Autopia.

You really can't go wrong with the pads from any of these sources.

FYI

you should not wash out your foam pads, that causes the adheshive to break down and causes the seperation. Also, most products that you will be using with those pads have some solvent in them that does the same thing.

Best way to clean them is to roll them up an blot them on a towel to remove the excess. Store them in some big zip lock bags, and you should mark the back of the pad to keep you from contaminating them with differnt products that might effect your results.
