porting pi heads?

I was wondering if any of you guys ported and polished a set of these heads? Im having mine done mid April and just wondering what the hp gains you are seeing. I was going to buy aftermarket heads but the machine shop I deal with here in PA said he can easly get them to flow the same or outflow the aftermarket versions. Im also changing the valves to stainless while the motor is apart.

# We want the best flow numbers with the smallest port volume and the highest velocity.

I didnt say bigger is better, I was just wondering what kind of numbers you guys are seeing. Im leaving the porting up to him, hes built over 25,000 race motors while in buisness, afterall thats why Im paying him to do the work. Stan does point out good info though, alot of machine shops out there including the place you want to go to is set-up and designed to build pushrod engines, which are very different compared to the 4.6L heads on the bench, I've heard of shops claim they can port anything and end up ruining the heads from over porting them because they followed 302-351/350 porting techniques

make sure the guy you're going to knows about SOHC porting
