so a couple years ago my rear axle basicly blew up and a shop installed a new exle with 3.73 out of an 87 thunderbird...so they said. well i took the cover off cuz the axle was whirling badly to find the gears wernt installed right and also to find NO POSI. i was pissed, so i bought a new diffental with a brand new clutch rebuild kit, and now im about to buy real 3.73 gears (over the 3.27 that where really in there) and now im looking for a place to install them. im planning on removing the rear axle and taking ti to the shop, anyone know a good shop in the marysville, WA area? i was thinking Randys off raod, thow ther a truck shop, they do deal with lots of gears and what not, any ideas?

Is Randy's next to a cafe that the trucks are always driving through (driving through the actual building when the brakes, etc fail)?

I have heard some not-so-good stories about Randy's, though they do seem to do a lot of business.

I had mine resetup (long story) at Brad's. I'd recommend them all day long. They are probably very similar in price. The guys there are great and they work almost exclusively on Mustangs.

If you search the Northwest forum I believe there were a couple threads with people's experiences from local shops -- you can read a little about each of them. That's where I got my info from before having anything done.
