Meh.. gas will be $5 a gallon at the rate it's climbing..

To even be appealing, the 5'oh would have to get at least 25mpg..

I have to get gas tomorrow... $4/gal. here for premium.. even at Costco.

What the Autoblog article failed to mention however, is the new 5.0 modular engine will also include V.V.T, along with Direct Injection. That being said, even if gas prices do reach $5 per gal due to it's current rate climbing. As a direct result, the new modular 5.0 will be much more fuel efficient, and exceed 25mpg highway.

Hmm.. In that case, a 5'oh would be awesome!

Just bear in mind, that Ford has not officially confirmed this as of yet, however through a very reliable source. This new modular 5.0 will debut in the 2011 GT thus replacing the current 4.6
