Hey guys. So, I have a 2004 V6 and its fun and all but would like to upgrade. My buddy has a fully built engine/trans 302 out of a '85 that he offered "if you can haul it away, its yours". Would this be possible to swap? I know that a carburetor 302 in a 2004 may be a bit different, but if its possible, would be pretty awesome if you ask me.

Can be done but yes very pricey and an pain because your car has electronic ignition and and ecm and fuel injection puting a carb engine will not use any of these and then your is going to throw all sorts of check engine light codes and your speedometer is going to be off so could get all done rigth for it to even be able to pass state inspection will cost much more than to just find a use v6 for your year and replace it or if you really want and 8 just do a whole gt swap with the engine trans and ecm from donor car
