Possible fendor rub - frontend

I have a 1990 notch - car isn't running at the moment, plan on swapping engine/trans (blow head gasket, old stock engine).. however, I did a bit of work on that before I made that decision.

Anyways, here's a bit of the suspension/control arm work I've done:

front
----------
SVE caster camber plates
MM lower control arm
QA1 strut coilover kit
Eibach endlinks
Eibach sway bar

rear
----------
SVE tubular control arms
Eibach springs/shocks
Eibach sway bar

Everytime I lower the frontend down I can hear tire rubbing against what I assume is the fendor. - wheels rotate fine when the car is jacked up, no noise. For the time being I just wanted to remedy that, would I be able to with the cc plates? I know an alignment shop is the best option but it's not drivable. It's not critical to fix it since I'll be replacing even more components, but I wanted to get some opinions on the noise.

Are the tires hitting the spring on the c/o's

When the car is rubbing you need to see if you can see what's contacting. The chamber plates can pull the top of the wheel into the fender more...but if that isn't your problem you'll be doing that for nothing.

I checked the clearance when the car is lifted and under load between the tire and c/o spring - didn't see/feel any rub between them. About 1/2 inch of clearance

I thought about painting the inner wheel well or even the tire to see if it rubs off. The tires are going to be replaced so no big deal, also may replace the inner wheel well if that's possible (haven't checked on that yet)

Rubbing when wheels pointed straight ahead? Or at full lock only?

When pointed straight ahead, as I'm lowering the car I can hear the tire rubbing

You may be hearing the tires scrub the ground surface when you let the car down to ride height, as you jack the car up the track width narrows, this is normal. That is if I understand what you're describing.

Which MM control arms did you install? They have three different offsets which will move the wheel forward or backwards 3/4" when using the stock k member.

Maybe I could try lowering them onto some race ramps to see if the noise differs, thoughts?

I had this thought as well, but the ones I got should work okay with the stock k-member

I'm going to try raising them an inch or so, and see if the noise persists. If it does, I'll post some pics.

I have to grab some different spacers for that change, so it'll be a few.

do they have wheels on them?
nevermind, I googled them.
put a small of plywood under each wheel, if the tire is not contacting the fender and all you are doing is hearing a rub when you set it down on the suspension I think you are hearing the tires scrub on the floor, the control arms move in an ark, the wheels move in when you jack it up and move out when setting the weight back on them but thats just a guess because we have no pics. Your not turning the wheels right and left correct?

Yeah the race ramps will work like a piece of plywood, I'll give that a shot. Correct, no wheel turn being done - I should be able to post sometime this week, with pictures.

Finished up raising them a bit, attached a couple pics afterwards. Same noise occurred.

Actually the noise happened without the wheel on, I uploaded a couple videos to detail this.

You can really hear the noise when I drop onto the race ramps, since both sides are generating it.

Did you torque the control arm bolts with the suspension loaded?

I did not, potential culprit? Really sounds like the spring on the coilovers making the noise

If the engine is still out of it just loosen up those control arm bolts a little and see if the sound goes away. You need to have full weight on the control arms when torqued down. That means wait till you have the engine in, I always leave a checklist of things to check taped to the windshield when doing multiple things on a car.
