Possible Free 69 351W in my future...

Well I went over to my dads yesterday with my 87 4cyl notch. He has a lincoln, with a 302 HO in it. I asked if I could have that off of him. He said he doesnt know.
I then told him that I saw an ad in the local paper for a 351W out of an 88 police interceptor (prolly an ltd) with the trans included. It runs. $400 dollars for the motor and trans. He said, "thats too much for a 351...." He said there is one sitting over there on the hill out of a 69 mustang. He said you can just take it . I said, Well okay, would you help me rebuild it.
"what do you plan on putting it in?"
I point to the coupe.
"No, nothing that size."
"Why not?" I say
His response is: "It isnt speed that kills its the sudden stop."

So my question is how can I talk my dad into giving me the motor and helping me rebuild it to put it in my coupe?

What are some good cheap brake setups?

Are 88 lincoln mark VII brakes direct swaps? Its five lug disc brakes all the way around.

Will the rear end out of the mark VII bolt right up to a coupe? Arent the lincoln and coupe the same foxbody?

I know he should. Ill see if I can talk him in to letting me have it for the coupe this weekend.

Im looking to keep it very low budget. Thats why I was wondering if the mark VII will work. Does anyone know???
