Possible PCV problem and a misfire

Alright, had this problem for a while but thought it would go away.

About 2 months ago, I did the regular, oil change etc. I also did the sparkplugs. One of my friends swapped the damn vaccum lines from the pcv valve and one of the lines to the CAI. Right around the same time, the IAC went out. I took it to the local Ford dealership just so they could check everything out. After I got it back, I started having a vaccum sound coming from the engine while its warming up. After about 5 or 10 minutes, the car is warm and the vaccum sound goes away. When I listen under the hood, it sound like it is coming from the intake manifold. Could it be the pcv valve? Ford said they checked it and it was fine.

One other problem that came up right around the same time was that is sounds like it misses sometimes. There is just a small blurp every so often, when I say every so often, like once or twice every 10 seconds. The exhaust seems to have a more "bubbling" sound, and a lot of exhaust vapor. The exhaust also smells, kind of like a diesel. The smell might be the pcv letting oil into the intake, that is the first issue tho. I checked the sparkplugs and they seem fine, the COPs seem fine, any sugguestions? No codes have been thrown, it seems to run fine.

PCV valves are cheap, replace it and see if it helps? If it is missing as often as you say it is then there would be a code, so it may just feel like its missing. Cause too many misses will throw a code and then WAY too many misses will cause the SES light to blink (I had it happen to me before). I would just double check all your vaccum lines and make sure everything is solid.

i agree with myearshurt. get a pcv valve and go from there. it is normal for you to have some hissing noise during inital warm up. that is fromt he iac. if you hold your throttle slightly open and disconnect the iac you will notice the hissing goes away.
