I've been running a few ideas through my warped mind, and could use some thoughts on this one....
I'm dropping a 2.8 into my 78 T-top, and since I can't seem to find the parts to set up the clutch linkages, can anyone think of a reason I couldn't just get the II pedal assembly, cut a hole in the firewall, make up a pair of brace plates, and bolt the hydraulic clutch assembly from a Ranger/Bronco II into it? That would give me a self-adjusting clutch, allow me to run an overdrive (Toyo/Kogyo 5-speed), and would simplify things a bit (I have a few spares kicking around anyway...). Its not like I'm building my II to factory spec or anything even approaching "stock" anyway, and I've always had the urge to Redneck things a bit differently.
