Post Pics of Your Mustang

I like your truck, looks pretty cool! I always have ordered a car in my Fav colors rather than a blank canvas look. I would give it a factory two tone (GT, Z28, SS look etc) The only White Mustangs I really like are the Shelby's with the Blue Rally Stripes. That's what I like about color choice.. we buy what "We" like, and make it our own. My first Mustang was a 1966 that was white. My sister had a 71 Torino GT in Diamond Blue (A bright white with a tinge on blue tint) I went with that color on the 66 and put 71 era mirrors on both sides. It was a real head turner. Wish I still had it!

Aloha,

Recently joined but have been using this joint as a resource of awesome information for a long time. Thank you its been really valueable from dreaming of my mustang to owning and improving my mustang.

Obviously its a 67 Coupe. Ordered and deleivered to Fairway Ford, Yoba Linda, Placentia California, January 67 and sold 28th Feb '67. Made its way to Oz in the mid 90's. and now lives in Albany Western Australia pretty much as she rolled of the lot back in Feb '67 other than a warmed up power plant..

Underr the bonnet its the original bottom end, with Flo-Tek , Heads, Eldenbrock Vic Jnr 302 inlet Manifold, 570cfm Holley Street Avenger, with the Crane Cams XR 700 elctric ignition conversion through the dizzy and ceramic headers spewing the gas out of custom 2 1/2" pipes. I know it has a mild cam but no idea what that or the rest of internals are yet. Goes and sounds great. Havent dyno'ed yet but im feeling close to the 300hp rangeTBC

Anyway thanks to everyone posting here its been a great source of valueable info on my journey and now feeling i may be able to contribute along the way based on my experience? We'll see

Hello fellow stangers. Wanted to share my Sterling Grey Metallic 2011 Gen1 Coyote Track Pack on American Muscle GT500 Replicas and Steeda Ultralites.

My first mustang in high school was a 2000 GT I tried to turn into a cobra R before I blew her motor.

Just finished wrapping her and putting 305s. Waiting for my H&Rs and Koni Yellows this week.

Just got my car back from the wrap shop. My wife hated the red so much that she offered to pay the majority of the cost. I went with a color shifting vinyl, kind of like the old mystic cobra mustangs.

Do you drive that thing on the street? I mean, I have a large Cervinnis front spoiler on mine, about five to six inches of clearance. I hit it frequently. not enough to hurt it because I drive it the way one has to with a deep front spoiler on the front. But I don't see that one of yours surviving very long where I live. Mine has a deep front spoiler and a deep carbon fiber diffuser under the back. So I have to pay mind when parking not to get too close, front or rear.

All the time

But I don't see that one of yours surviving very long where I live.

Yup an accurate statement, lol
Front tires are in the gutter so not as low as it looks in head on pic.
It will clear a standard curb, but eventually will get bashed (again)on some pregnant speed bump or steep driveway.
I fixed it numerous times
It still has 5 of 9 lives left like some cat.

I think your spoiler looks neat.

The only place I've hit mine so far, is exiting my local Ford dealer. It's kind of steep, plus the street pavement on the other side tilts back up. So kind of a "V' type thing. Double-edged sword. Hit it, but didn't break anything. I thought it might, so was taking it real slow. ;-)

But I just love a nice large front spoiler, so I'll put up with it. Same for the diffuser on the back. Looks awesome, so it's a keeper.

Yours look pretty darn cool itself. Never seen one that looks like that one.

Do you have any full pictures of your car? Love to see what you got out back.

I'm soon going to be cutting holes in the hood for some 2013/14 Mustang hood vents, like the ones in my Lightning hood.

Love to see what you got out back.

Big stuff happening out back today!
We painted some of the le mans stripe on the hatch we replaced months ago.
But you'll have to go look at 2Blue2's Cobra2's drive way Build in the Mustang II forum here at Stangnet

Thanks for your nice comments Cbxer55

I'm soon going to be cutting holes in the hood for some 2013/14 Mustang hood vents,

I like this idea, will be looking for its posted pics soon.

It's a month or two away yet. With five vehicles, I am always doing something. The Mustang, being the newest to me, has received the most attention for awhile. That being said, I just picked up a set of widened rear rims for the Lightning. I already have narrowed front rims, stock 9.5 rims cut down to 7 inches. I found a guy selling two stock rims widened to 12.5 inches, with 345/35-18 tires on them. My current rear rims are 9.5 with 305/45-18 tires. So I'll have to put those really nice 1.5 wheel adapters back on again. Then I'll have 12.5 rims in the back, 7 in the front. ;-)

So your car is a work-in-progress? By "see what's going on out back, I meant what rear spoiler you are running. But I guess you'll post that when you're ready. Is that front spoiler something you made or had made? Because I've never seen one like it. It's pretty bad-ass.

As far as cutting holes in the hood. I am a sheet metal mechanic, I work on aircraft. You wouldn't believe some of the things we have to do to keep the jets I work on flying. So, cutting holes in the hood is not a big deal to me. I recently cut two three inch holes in the hood to put these Cervinnis hood locks on.

Stock but in the 70 thats a 6 inch duck tail

Valence / spoiler combo from after market heres some pics from my thread.

It keeps getting bashed, I keep fixing it, and every time i make it shorter and tuck it up a little higher

Your rim set up is bad ass.... widened!?! ~ narrowed!?! ~Wow!~ subtle mods liken that are so neat and you have to really look to see em
Subtle and really cool

I think your spoiler is closer to ground than mine

Well. I don't have the 12.5 inch rears just yet. Next week likely. I do at this time have 9.5 inch rears and 7 inch fronts. It can be seen. But with 12.5 inch rims, it'll be noticeable for certain.

Even modified as you have done, that front spoiler looks cool. I like it. My sister had an orange and white Mustang of the same generation back in the 80's. Think it was either a four cylinder or possibly a six. Can't remember. It was her first car.

I know it's off topic, but here's my Lightning now with the 9.5 inch rears with 305/45-18 Nitto NT555R drag radials, and the 7 inch fronts with 225/60-18 Lemans tires. You can definitely see the difference. Now imagine the rears three inches wider again! In this pic, the 1.5 adapters are on, so the outside will be where it is, but the inside will be three inches further in. Gonna look awesome.

It's a new day every Picture! lol Love the clean lines...What did they charge you to wrap and I'm sure your Mystic was a premium $$. Question: Are there several UFO sightings reported in Idaho while your cruising in the hills? lol John
