Just watched the '66 Turbo Nova do 1072 rwhp! Unreal! I've seen some sick stuff working here at TorqueFreaks, but I don't think my life will ever be the same! If you can't get down here today, then come tomorrow! 9am-6pm. Gotta go watch and 11 second Dodge truck break the torque record of 1086!

I assume the EEC is in the same place on the 2003 as it is in my 95? Easy enough to see if it has a chip. If it has been flashed, I don't know how to tell (wouldn't it be rude of them to flash it with a Predator or something, and then not include the device itself! )

I am happy with what I did. It was so funny though, after I did the dyno, these kids come up to me and ask me if I have a supercharger cause it was so loud. haha, they must be used to the sound of a rubberband motor.

to start congrats to everyone that ran today seen some good runs as well yes the record got broken but do to short term memory loss i think it was 1100 tq and like 1,000 or so hp by a dodge deisel damn if only the stang had that. dave is yours a vert.? when was your run ? one more question what gear should i do my run in 3rd or 4th? i have 3.55 gears and a 5spd. car .i shift at 5200 at the track. i agree i was standing behind that nova and damn that thing blew everything and everyone out of the way with it i havent watched the video from today but when that thing was on the dyno the rear of the rear tires flatten off like you see on the top fuel cars on T.V.i loved it it was freakin awsome. got everyone's times on video ( from the board) and we got there just as lars was backing off and they ran the red vette . so anyways not 100% if i'll be able to run tomorrow or not cause i'll prob. have the kids but i'm hoping to go watch again atleast to get some #'s. cause i feel a set of heads and intake and a chip in the very very near future peace

No, mine's a coupe. Keith and I both ran fairly early, around the 10th car or so. We left at a little after 11am.

one more question what gear should i do my run in 3rd or 4th?
You use 4th, because it has a 1:1 ratio (lowest loss of any gear). They'll drive it for you on the dyno if you want.

My dyno day results:

I replaced the heater core in the Volvo.
I replaced the rear pads and rotors in the Volvo.
I finished washing down the garage exterior with TSP.
I got a tag for the dog so he can get returned when he takes off.
