Powdercoat a/c compressor and tensioner?

Is it ok to powdercoat these 2 items?? I am more worried about the compressor more than the tensioner, any precautions that need to be taken??

I'm pretty sure the AC compressor would have to be taken apart. I know a guy who used to do them and he always did.

The tensioner doesn't need to be, I do them all the time.

Thats what alot of ppl say, but I think they would say different if you asked them if they would like A/C while they are sitting in their car on a hot summer day with sweat running do the crack of thier aise!
