The 2000 is a nice blower, w/ a stock block i would go sq trim (quiter) or s trim (louder). The only real nice thing about the 2000 or a YS OR YSI like i got is that youll have tons of room to grow for the future, ONce you get some boost your gonna want more

The YS and YSI are the V-7 RAce blowers (they also carry NO warranty), its gonna be over kill, You wont need more than the S trim it has Straight cut gears and the SQ has helical cut gears so its alittle quiter. Some one correct me if im wrong. I would go with the S trim for sure i love that whine! If you can find a good used setup i would opt for that, the only real wearable part is the actual head unit, and i know Vortech does a great job servicing them and it simple to have yours sent in and rebuilt. But hopefully someone with a procharger or paxton will chime in b/c im really only comfortable with Vortechs.

Well he said he does not want to tap the oil pan so as far as centrifugal blowers go he has a couple of options. Powerdyne or Procharger p1-sc or d1-sc. I would go with a d1-sc lot of room to grow. Stay away from flowerdynes. Tapping the pan is not hard I did it just fine as well as many others with no problems. I bought an s-trim for my car 4yrs ago and now wish I had at least gotten the
t-trim but should have went with the ys....ysi was not available at the time. Any of these blowers are capable of splitting the factory block so you will have to think about that as well do you see a race block in your future or what?

Also forgot to add. S and Sq other than being loud/quiet i believe the SQ has abetter step up ratio......builds boost sooner. The ys and ysi are small race blowers capable of 1000 h.p.
