Hey all!

Today I got in my car and it wouldn't start. Would click, but no rev. So I disconnected my fuse holder for my amp and the car started first try.

Now, diagnose this: I took the power cable off the amp and ran a wire from my remote wire to the power and it powers fine. Is this okay to do? I haven't blown the fuse in my fuse box yet somehow! Any opinions/thoughts on what I should do?

do not run the amp off the remote wire. you will end up blowing the fuse, and not get nearly enough current. the problem with the starting might be that you have cut in the sheathing of the amp power lead.

doh! so ur saying that me unhooking my fuse for the amp was just pure luck that the car starts everytime now? It didn't start a good 4 times. Then i disconnected the power fuse and it starts fine everytime.

k I'll deff have to check my ENTIRE power cable for any rips or cuts. However, this is what I think it is:

my fuse holder was shattered when i went under the hood. Like when the hood was closed, it broke the fuse holder then was laying on the metal inside the fuse holder. This would do it, right?
