Im having a weird problem all of the sudden. After about 5 minutes of driving my idle jumps up to about 1100 RPMs and stays there, the car "bucks" alot, the engine starts to get up to around 200*. The timing is set at 15, I have an E cam, gt40p heads, and gt40 intake manifold. Also it seems like im loosing power somewere, I thought that I over estimated the power increase with the new engine build but it didnt seem like it was pulling like it was right after I dropped the new engine in. My theorys were put to rest when I lost a race to a what sounded like a stock EL Camino. Any ideas what could be going on? I attempted to pull the codes with a jumper wire with no results, I have the check engine light bulb out of my cluster, does this need to be in to pull the codes? Also one more thing I should add is that I have a pretty bad exhaust leak from the headers to the Hpipe but im assuming it wouldnt affect power loss that much, I could be wrong though.
