Is anyone considering adding a Ford Power Pack kit to their car? They seem like a reasonably inexpensive way to bump up torque and H/P.

Probably, but at least they would be covered under the warranty. I don't believe superchargers would.

Ask your dealership but I do believe your right but it has to be installed by a dealership for it to be warrantied

The kit would have to be installed by a certified Ford Performance dealer in order for Ford to honor the warranty. Same thing with the Roush/FRPP supercharger kit.

Probably legit changing the mapping to give you more torque down low, think its only like a 10hp/ft. lb torque peak gain.

Just so you guys know that if installed by Ford the warranty is transferred to the Ford Performance warranty which is not the same has your standard warranty or your extended warranty and if anything pops because of pack ford performance warranty get priority which is ( This Performance Packs and Components Limited Warranty begins upon installation and registration of the part(s) with Ford Performance and remains in effect for the balance of 36 months or 36,000 miles / 60,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first, calculated from the start date of the manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty.)
