Power Question? TFS TW's, TS Street heat, TFS Stage 1

I've done some research and decided that I really like TFS's products. No one seems to complain about them at all. On the intake, I will either go with the TS Street HEat or Performer/Typhoon. Heads= TS TW's. Cam= TS Stage 1. What kind of power do you think is possible with a good tune?
Do TW's flow enough to support a Kenne Bell?

hell yes they will flow enough!

and you will need a gt40 lower with the kenne bell so i suggest you get a TMOSS ported gt40 lower

With the TFS combo I made 304hp/339tq with a cool down and a too small 65mm tb and junk shorty headers. Longtubes and a 75mm TB and I would have made more and a bunch more under the curve. If your gonna be buying new injectors and maf anyway, go ahead and get some 42's and a 80mm pro m.

To use a KB blower, you'll need a cobra/gt 40 lower or a stock lower. Yes those TW heads will work insane with a supercharger! I just ordered a vortec SQ S Trim yesterday and I can't wait for that.

I would guess you would hit the 300rwhp mark with that combo and a "Good" tune and those TW's should flow very nicely high that KB with no problems.

it will be unlikely to get over 300rwhp on a '95 with such a combo, but you'll still see impressive gains. a tfs combo will likely by my next big mod.

since you are going blower, why dont you get a blower cam such as a b31 anderson cam to go with the trick flow headas and get an explorer intake to save cash now, then you can sell the upper on ebay and strap the KB on whenever you are ready.

and again, have tmoss port the cobra lower, as it will be a restriction to the KB and a bottleneck to the heads.

Yeah i started thinking about why id buy an expensive intake now if I was just going KB later? Good point. I def. like the idea of the ported TMOSS lower. I've heard nothing but good things form him.

You will not be disappointed with the TW heads. They are great NA and will shine with boost. My times in sig are with the same combo you are heading to. (minus the blower) I am sure there is more et & mph left in it because I just started racing (2.5 months now) and still have a lot to learn. The cam idles rock solid and the power is there. I am sure it is not the optimal cam but it gets the job done.

Nope, I converted it to a fox body throttle body. I'll change my sig to make it more clear.

Spend the extra money, do it right, and buy a good camshaft. Flowtech, Anderson, Bennett, Jay Allen, whatever. Don't go with a generic OTS cam for the sake of "saving money".

Looking at a cool $4000 for a KB blowzilla. Or something close to that amount. That's the only reason my car will end up with an S-trim instead. I can afford heads intake and s/c for the same price as the KB alone. Although you gotta love full boost at 2000rpms.

Ebay has some killer prices for KB's though, but Vortech did the price drop on the S-trims, soo many options. Why not go with an out of the box cam? What will a custom, say, FTI give me over say a Steeda 19 or a Stage 1?

I gained some low end torque (2500-3500 gains) with my fti cam over my tfs stage 1 BUT that was also with some longtubes headers. In my case, I should have kept the TFS 1 cam in. Fwiw, my best with shortys and a tfs 1 cam was 12.87 @ 107 and my best with longtubes and the fti cam was a 12.84 @ 108.95. Both should have been a little faster but im not gonna lost the excuses. The fti cam combo alwars ran lean (16-18:1 a/f in some spots) because the 24lb injectors could not feed it enough. My next cam will be a custom grind blower cam from Jay Allen.
