Power Seat Motor Won't go up/down?

So my driver's seat will go forward and backwards just fine, but wont go up or down. Any idea why this is? When I move the switch down, the motor just like moves for an instant and clicks once, but the seat doesn't go down. Thanks for the input.

check the fuse.

mine will go forward and up but not back and down.

They only way i can get it to go back and down is hook alligator clips to the wire and use a seperate power source so I can manually change the polarity of the wires. It then goes back and down but not up and forward. it's a pain in the ass!!!!!!

Took me forever to figure the problem out. I just need to buy a manual rack and swap them out because i hate dealing with it.
