Power Seat Wont Move Forward

Has anyone come accross an issue with their power seat is not moving forward. I am fixing up a 92 gt vert with the full power seats. It moves up and down, lumbar etc. However, it will not move forwards or backwards. Any ideas? I hear the motor spinning but seat does not move. I really couldnt car less about power seats. Would it be easier to buy some manual tracks and mount the seat to them?

same problem here, same exact car. i figure they are binding on built up crap in the tracs. probably a good clean up and they will be back to new.

any update? i have mine out and one track will not move at all. the other is no problem. cleaned, greased cursed at. still nada.

Typical ford power seats...I'd like to know a fix as well, as my 96 will move just fine until you sit in it, then it only goes backwards...
