This is the craziest thing I ever seen,
My 2000 Mustang GT will completely leak out most of the power steering fluid once a month. In between major leaks, it works just fine (not a single drop leaks out). The leak forms a big puddle of fluid under the car (it normally leaks out over night).

Has any one seen this issue before?

My hydroboost leaked for a while but never enough for the level to go down much. Replaced it with a used unit and no more problems.

Drive the car up on some ramps, find the source of the leak - replace parts as necessary or take it to a shop and have them do it.

Thanks I will try replacing it. I always see :the leak too late for any troubleshooting into this issue. I will post again after replacing the hyroboost.

Don't just replace parts you don't know are leaking/broken! Even with no fluid in it you should be able to trace the leak...or you could use some leak trace!

I didn't say you should replace the hydroboost! I said mine leaked at the hydroboost. Mine leaked right around the nitrogen accumulator.

Check and see where your system is leaking BEFORE you start buying parts. I was just suggesting a place to look.

The problem is that there is no leak. Once in a while the brake fluid is ejected back into the bottle and it leaks from the top. The system, otherwise, does not leak at all. It almost looks like that a high presure or a buble forms on the system and it pushes all the fluid up into the resorvoir and since not all of it can fit in there it leaks out.
