My power steering line has always bothered me, as it was very long and always looped up. I have also noticed that just before the 90 bend into the pump, there is some sort of sensor looking thing on the line. It looks like something I have seen on other model Fords but not Mustangs. Also, midway through the line, approximately the lenth the line should be, is a metal coupling (looks like the same silver coupling the attaches the rubber line to a hard line, but in this case it seems to couple together two rubber lines to extend them).
My question is, is this the original 5.0 powersteering line like this? I will post pics as soon as I can of what I have. In the mean time, check out MOB's car, and look at his PS line, his doesnt loop, is much shorter, and doesnt have the sensor thing. Could I have this one because my car was a 4cyl? did the 4cyl cars have the PS pump located in a different place?
BTW: I'm talking about the pressure line, not the return line.
