Ok i need some help cause I'm lost, took the A/C off my 82 mustang gt 302, also removed the heavy as crap power steering pump bracket. Bought the A/C delete pulley, trick aluminum one from Lmr...so the problem is, all these fancy looking aluminum brackets for the power steering pump don't have a place to attach my A/C delete pulley and bracket...I'm tired of bying stuff that don't work, just bought a $160 bracket from Detroit speed from cjs pony parts tgat they said would work, wrong, this part wants me to put a chevy power steering pump to the bracket, plus still no where to attach my A/C delete pulley and bracket, this shouldn't be that hard, I guess if I have to I will put the heavy old factory power steering bracket back on...I'm totally at a loss here so anything helps....please

No need for the idler AC pulley if your mounting the p/s back with a fancy bracket.... The AC delete pulley is only if your keep the stock mustang brackets and stock power steering.... Better way for the newer cars was the drop AC delete bracket that mounted the power steering like a non AC car has it. Think ford racing and lmr still sell them. Can't remember if the brackets on 82 where the same as 86-93 style off the top of my head though.

Well the problem is, without the A/C delete pulley, the serpentine belt will hit in the middle because that pulley is gone

That why you use the relocation style brackets... Majority of the fox stuff isn't designed around the early brackets but the later model stuff, and it raises the power steering higher. Your trying to use the delete idler pulley and change the pump bracket at the same time neither where designed for the 82 brakcets, you need a pump bracket that works with the stock tensioner system by raising the pump location, there's multiple ways to do it and using an idler is the worst of them but there cheap so ppl do it.

He's the ford racing / lmr power steering relocation bracket adapted to an 82 power steering pump bracket. No idler pulleys used, there like $80bucks these days.

I have been looking for options on my " other project" ( Small block Chevy) for pulley systems... I do NOT like the gaudy chrome billet options offered and was looking for a clean more stock looking system... Not sure what they have for Small block fords.....
CVF has a some clean options.. This will probably be my go to, even though it would be a 2 serpentine belt system....
ICT Billet offers are all too much ( looks wise) for me
Holley has a system for Small block Chevys that attaches to there custom water pump that hugs the accessories close to the block... I would get it, but it is an AC only system, and my car will not have air conditioning..
Perhaps one of these suppliers has something that will work for you? Good luck

Those billet ps brackets that keep the same position as stock for fox bodies where meant to be used with the tension rod style alt mounts that ditches the spring loaded tensioner. Like I said there are so many options, that mixing and matching screw stuff up, then add in reverse rotation vs stand water pump. Me I avoid idler pulleys but my fat ass won't give up a/c these days unless its just a track car., those ps relocation brackets to ditch A/c and raise the pum pulley location used to be around $40.

For SBC stuff look on market place sites, if its cnc'd it probably sourced from China now and double the price once branded, you can get ls brackets dirt cheap, and I refused to award companies that out source and still charge made in USA prices because there logo is etched into it..
