Power Steering Pump

I have a pump from a Granada and it has a larger size fitting on the pressure side than the stock stang unit. I have been to all the parts stores around here to find a reducer to hook the line to the pump but nobody has any. Has anybody done this and where can I get a reducer to work? Thanks.

Have you considered a Granada hose?

I have but I installed a rack an pinion unit and the fittings are different.

IIRC that's an O-ring fitting, isn't it? Have you considered a Granada hose and have a hose shop change the rack end?

True. Any phone book will list hydraulic shops. PS is nothing to play games with, 800 psi needs a lot of control.

Have you considered changing to a 60's Mustang Ford/Thompson pump?
