Power Window issue (not the bushings)

hey guys, a while ago my cobra's pass. side window stopped working. it's been in the up position since. today i took it all apart to see what's up, and found out that maybe my issue isn't the bushings. i took the motor apart and the bushings minus well be brand new! not chipped cracked or anything

i hooked the motor up to the switch and when i push up, the motor went on! so i tried down, and nothing happened. so far i've tried cleaning the switch, and i even swapped the switch with a working driver's side. any idea of what's going on? this happen to anyone else when their's stopped working?

thanks guys, so the slots that the switch goes in were the problem? that sounds right because i even swapped the driver's side switch(which works) and it didn't do $hit.
