I have a 2000 Mustang GT I purchased new.

The power window motor on my mustang went out (Factory one) so I had it replaced with one purchased at Murry's auto because the Ford OEM one was so expensive. Three weeks later the new one burned out too. Why would this happen? Someone told me I should have bought the OEM one from Ford but they are $170+. I found people selling "New in the box" Ford ones for $50 shold I try one of those? How can they be "new in the box" when they are so cheap?
To make matter worse I'm going on vacation to Toronto on Friday so I need to make decisions fast. Any help

The window is hanging up on the rubber stripping on each side of it that it goes between when it goes up and down. Keep you window very clean, if it goes down slowly or hangs up revers direction and then go back down. A little silicone spray will help also.

My guess is that neither window motor is bad. They just over heat and trip the overload switch when they hang up on the rubber strip.

Just wait a while, the windows should work fine once the motor cools down.
