power window motor

I have a 2001 GT and today I put the window down and was driving around for awhile. When I went to park it and put the window up it wouldn't go up. How do I know if the motor went bad?

if it won't go back up, it's bad. slam the door a few times and see if it works again. if not, you need to get it fixed.

A good swift punch to the door did the trick. Everything works fine now.

I don't think its the motor cus mine does this all the time. I think its the relay over heating. Ya can hear it click when ya hit the button.
