have fun with that one! ill tell you what i did...there is no hole in the firewall, there might be...but those babys are sealed good, ud have to drill a hole..or do what i did...run it along side the left side of the engine compartment, up the the right top near the driver door, then feed it through behind the finder so it pops out by the door, then that lil acordian looking sleeve that hides the wires from the door to the car, feed the two ends out of the holes they are in...and run the wire from the door side through the sleeve to the inside of the car, it will pop out near the hood release...then u simply run it under ur door seals and carpet to where ever your going..now i know u will see 2-3 inches of wire from the fender to the sleeve thing, but a lil eletrical tape, camos it to look like it belongs there, as well as going through the sleeve makes it so you dont pinch the hot wire on the bare medal which woulndt be good...its what i did, u see the wire 3 inches, but with tape, wrap it, no biggie..or dig and dig and find a hole in the firewall, or drill a hole..not to many options on our cars..hope that helps..sorry no pictures?

Personally I wouldn't suggest that, unless you have the wired secured in some fashion as to NOT have ANY ability to move or flex by any metal. The insulation will actually wear off over time even if it is just lying on metal. I'll take some photos for you of what I did when it stops raining out. It's a little extreme, but worked the best for my situation and large cable size(1/0).

Okay thanks kwik9550 that is what i want to do is actually drill a new hole for and put a grommet it, but i cant figure out a good place for that i can get the drill into either on the engine bay side or the interior side, if you could get me some pictures that would be great.

Pics weren't feasible tonight, but I'll get them to you tomorrow. If you have 8 or 4 guage, there should be a grommet to the right and slightly above the Hydraboost you could CAREFULLY cut and feed some wire through. This wouldn't work for my 1/0, so I removed the DS fenderwell liner and proceeded to drill through the nice open space. Installed a special weathertight grommet, reinstalled the liner and voila! Ultra stealth, and believe it or not, less time consuming than trying to snake my drill and body into some other tight confine.

I cut a hole in the grommet that holds the main wiring harness and ran 2-#4s through there. Just have to be carefull not to hit any other wires but it wasnt hard.

Mine's an 05, but this may help: find where the antenna wire goes through the firewall and cut the grommet just a bit to feed a wire through. Depending on what you're powering, one 4-guage should be plenty.

I would honestly rather drill a new hole and put a grommet in there for the 0 gauge wire that i have. I do not really want to be poking through the factory firewall and screw something up.
