Power??

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some opinions on what you guys think I might be pushing for power numbers. My car is just about complete with everything listed in my signature, right now I have just been finishing buttoning up all the connections and what not with putting in the new motor.

Also, with the combo listed what do you think my chances are of hanging/beating a '06 GTO bone stock?

On top of what is in my sig I also I have a UPR k member and a-arms, 70/30 front struts.

i think the gto is gonna cover you pretty easy, unless the GTO has a junk driver, and you can drive pretty well. put a 125 shot on it and you will smoke him.

if you race from a roll, he's only gonna beat you worse.

Oh geez, well then looks like I will need to look into nitrous kits.

The GTO was dynoed and it came out to be 330 to the wheels. The GTO is a tank so I was hoping that the power to weight ratio was going to be on my side (granted I know the vert is a tank as well).

i have a 5.0 lx completely stock not even exaust or nothing
an this sunday when i was crusing the beach i gto pulled up to me and reved it at me a couple of times an since i do my homework i know that i cant beat a gto on a roll so when when we came to a red lightwe whent for i took the gto by like a car for like a half of a block then he started pulling on me luckyly we ran out of room and i stayed on top
the reason for this is that gto is way to heavy plus they got one of computerized throttle bodies that dont let them laungh good if you ever seen one race they allways start out realy bad but then there motor kiks in another thing there traction control dont let the car spin its wheels good so yoy got a prety good chancge if you r a good driver
