I'm waiting on a salvage yard to rebuild a 94/95 T5 for me to complete my AODE to T5 swap. They offered up a 93 style that is already completed. From what I've read, this will work in our cars if you have a 93 style T5, Bell Housing, Clutch Fork and a Driveshaft Spacer to compensate for the 5/8 inch input shaft difference. The question that I have for anyone that has done this is, does everything else fit? I would expect that

1) The shifter would fit further forward and
2) The transmission mount wouldn't line up with the crossmember

Are there any problems in this area?

Other than that the only differences that I can see between the tranny types is that the 1st gear ratio is different and the 94/95 trannys are stronger than the stock pre-94 trannys.

Thanks for any opinions on what the preferred approach is. I'm not planning to push more than 250 RWHP and don't want to spend the money for a new tranny.

There's a company on e-bay that I found that as a few input shafts left but doesn't specifically say if it for 94/95. The only description is "23 drive teeth, 10 clutch splines, 9 3/8" Overall Length". Any idea if that is for our cars or what the right number of teeth, splines and length should be? I'll keep searching in the meantime.

The TKO has the same input length as the fox T-5 and i had to use the spacer on the DS. They sell an Offset trans mount because mine did not line up with the crossmember either because of the input shaft difference. I got my Offset mount from www.bieberfever.com.
