This may be a dumb question, and I am sure I have seen it asked before.
But was not able to find anything on it. I have a Predator that I have
used for my 2000 Mustang GT. I have on order a Kenne Bell, so I know
I have to remove the built in tune. My question is it still locked to my
car since I also used it to change my rear gear ratio? Thanks.

Can't wait for the Kenne Bell to arrive. Are the instructions provided good
enough or should one have a shop manual just in case?

Once the tune is gone, it should be gone, including the recalibration for the gears. Just take it for a spin after you remove the tune and see if the speedometer seems wrong.

KB install wise, here are a couple supplements to read before and possibly during the installation. The KB installation guide is supposedly top notch. You probably won't even need a Haynes manual.
