My Predator isn't working. I've plugged it into several ODBII cars now including other Mustangs and it won't power up ... respond or anything like that.

When I plug it into a power source via the wall it turns on fine but still won't connect to a vehicle under it's own power.

Above is a picture of the port, am I missing any pins? There are only two on the top and I figure I'm missing some ... I can't find any on my carpet if they broke off.

Figured I'd see about asking you guys to take a quick look at the count of pins on both rows and shoot back a result. I'm hoping it's just a connector which can be replaced. I want to put back my stock tune and then buy an XCAL2 instead.

Thanks.

You been yanking out the plug by the cord? Thatll rip the wires from the pins on the connector. Remove the screw from the harness clip and reattach the wires.

Don't worry, its very simple on the inside, I did it to mine when I first got it. I almost cried when I pulled back a stripped cord

I'll post a pic of mine if you need it.

Yeah, just pull it apart, there isn't much in there. the wire are just soldered to to pins ( not very well I might add ). It's very easy to do.

Thanks, guys!

Just got this done, never realized I was pulling by the cord. Popped open the cover and then soldered it back. Fortunately only one of the cords were off, looks like the rest were put on almost with super glue ... not very well at all.

Runs like a champ now.

Appreciate the help.

PS. If anyone wants it, give me a ring and I'll go for $300 shipped. It's practically new. I'm going to order my SCT here soon.
