Hey Guys, I have a quick question... I am running the 93 octane tune on my 06 GT with the stock airbox....I will be picking up a CAI kit this week. Do I need to change any parameters of the predator tune or can I bolt it right up?

Thanks

Did you buy the Predator from a shop with custom tunes loaded or was it "right out of the box"? If you got it with custom tunes, contact them and see if you will need a new tune or not. I know the CAI kits with larger than stock air tubes should get retuned as the computer will have to guess and compensate for the larger amount of air flow.

The Predator is "right out of the box." (No custom tune.)

I actually called them and they said no additional parameters need to be changed with the 93 octane tune. That being said, I still wanted to see what other people had to say about it.

Like I said before, if you stick with the same size tube and TB(forgot about that in my first post)you will not need a retune. As far as I know only the C&L, GMS and WMS CAIs allow you to do that. I think Steeda(not 100%)has an insert for their tube to keep it the same size as stock.

I ordered the K&N CAI......I hope it's the same size! As far as the throttle body, I think I'm going to leave the stock one on as it seems they are not worth the trouble.

My bad...once again. Should've said MAF not TB. The K&N CAI requires no retune.
