Well, I'm installing a 5 speed in the Lincoln MKVII LSC, I got it all in, adjusted, ready to go. I started it up on the stands, and heard a loud knocking sound. Well, long story short, I pulled the trans back out and the Ford Racing King Cobra clutch is hitting the bellhousing. It's a T5Z trans with the matching bellhousing...all brand new. Anybody have any experience with this...suggestions? The pressure plate housing is smacking the bottom of the bellhousing.
