Previous Mustangs Owned

I'm a relative rookie, having owned 3. Currently a 68 coupe (since March 06). Had (and sold) an 88 LX 5.0 and an 89 GT. Great cars--I can definitely see another Fox in my future! It'll have to be a while, though ($$$, you know). To me, they're still kind of "old school" wicked, w/ enough creature comforts available if you want them.

'85 SSP Coupe

I've had my coupe for almost 4 years, and i had the GT for a little over a year. I traded the '88 to get the '83 and then traded the '83 to get my coupe. The Ghia is in a scrap yard....which is a pitty because it was 100% rust free...nobody wanted it though because it didn't have a title and it was pretty much a bare shell. I couldn't even give it away so i gave it to a guy i know who owns a junkyard.

What about applying for a lost title?

Yeah man i told everyone that's what they should have done but i got no takers. I posted pics on my cardomain page and i had one guy from Jersey who was really interested but i don't know what happened there. I had a few guys locally who wanted it but it just seemed like all talk and nobody lifted a finger. In the end the car was sitting in my buddy's driveway and his old lady wanted it gone so off it went. I pulled my '85 nose off of it and the rear bumper and '79 spoiler and kissed it goodbye. Oh, the other thing i REALLY wanted off this car was the doors since they were totally rust free as well, but they were hard top doors with the TOP CUT OFF so they would work with the T tops....F'in stupid people. That's my stock '85 nose sitting on it after i put the Pacecar nose on my coupe.

That spot on the fender lip that looks like rust is just paint chips. I couldn't believe how rust free this car was for being a '79. I don't know what condition the underside was in because all i did was pull off the parts i wanted, but it couldn't have been that bad off with the rest of the car being as clean as it was. People get real skiddish with no title cars because of possible theft and whatever, but it would have been a sweet car for sure, but would have taken a LOT to get it there...like the equivelent of another complete Mustang getting swapped into it. I guess a lot of people saw it as a waste of time to go that far.

For what it's worth, here's the other 2 'stangs i've had that i listed before:

The '83-351W car that never got finished (by me...it's running 11s now)
