Ok a buddy has informed me that his uncle is selling his drag racing 65 fastback. Here is the deal its got a lift off fiberglass front, 9 inch 4.56 gears roll cage, and supposedly had a big block. From what I understand it has not been tubbed but has some sort of racing front. I'm going to look at it to see how bad its been cut up. If it has been done right and isn't a hack job what do you guys think its worth? The body is supposted to be in great condition with no body work needed. Sorry for not haveing pics but I'll be looking at it this weekend.
EDITED: Motor or tranny not included.

thats a lot motor and gear for someone not at least mini tubed with a 65 pony.

no way to give an accurate estimate without seeing a car like that. I've seen a lot of hacked up race cars, and a lot of really nice ones. The decription for a hacked up car or a nice car could be the same, and be true for both. It all depends on how well the work was done.

Yeah, I'm picturing the worse before I go look at it. I've found out that it has a pinto front end on it to make room for the big block and I'm pretty sure its from the shock tower out.

This is the reason I'm not putting a cage in my car I knew I would fine one with it eventually...a 10 pointer no less. I'm probably going to look at it tomorrow and see. You'll die when I tell you the asking price....but I'll keep you in suspense for now
