Is $850 a decent price for a straight, rust free 1967 Mustang shell (roller)? I'm looking into gettting my first Mustang and this caught my eye.

excellent! and by shell I really mean nothing but the body (no seats, glass, and any interior/exterior pieces) and rolling gear (rear end, suspension, and wheels) if I wasn't totally clear before.

I just sold my 66 coupe for $300 not my number though....my dad told the guy that's what I wanted, which is half of what I actually was asking, but now I'm stuck selling it to this guy since a price was agreed upon and he's a friend of my dad's. $850 for any rust free classic is good.

The only thing bad about starting with a shell is the billions you'll spend on all of the little pieces.

I started with a complete coupe and still spent $200 on *fasteners* alone during reassembly. I'm too scared to add up all of the other trim pieces and little doodads needed...

I saw that on eather ebay or cragslists iw as concidering it its a really good deal.... make sure you find the engine really cheap.. i have a extra one at home was thinking about buy the shell for that engine hehe..

It would be good for a race car, but too much work and little things to be worth restoring.
