It's a little high for a turbo motor without the turbo. You should be able to find a better deal elsewhere.

(Note the punctuation in my sentences, it sure makes things easier to read and raises your online IQ at least 15 points)

I can see that you don't use it...I was just suggesting that you DO on this board if you want to be taken seriously.

I'm not trying to be a hard ass so don't take it too personally...

I'm certain there are way more available in your area...you just haven't found them.

Once you go turbo you'll forget all about that "5 oh"

The cost of the complete motor with computer and air meter plus maybe another 100 bucks in misc. stuff.

Stock 1/4 mile times? 15.0 @ 90mph. Add a 45 buck boost valve and raise the boost and it's mid to low 14's. Another 100-300 bucks and you'll be outrunning late models.

Thought i would throw in my 2 cents . You could always forget about the 5 oh and the 2 three and go with the 6 oh the oh is for OMFG! I bought mine for far less than 400 us (mind you I put lots more than that into it) by choice of course . Simple setup 351w bored .060 over = 5.95 litres or 6.0 for us ford math guys . But either way you go its gonna be but loads more fun than a n/a 2.3. And no putting a 351w in your car does not involve all the BS some people like to say it does. It was just as easy as fitting a 5.0 and just as cost effective so DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE! Just ask someone in the know and by that I don't mean catalouge junkies. good luck
