i was just wondering if anyone had gotten these or was thinking about getting them and what the cost was?

personally i like them a lot. I think they look great, and it might be a very cost effective way to get a good lookin set of wheels cuz a poor college kid wont have money for a while to get some aftermarket rims.

It wont even be worth considering...

You can pick up some nice DEEP dish bullit wheels for the same amount they want to rape you with.

I thought the bullit wheels were the standard (ie cheaper ) wheel on the new car. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct, second to last page of the brochure. You can get 18" Bullits in chrome and two other colors (can't remember which)

according to my brochure those bullit options are 17" wheels and the dealer gets $325 for each wheel. better to get some aftermarket 18" wheels from discount tire direct or tire rack.

Heh, it's funny that I just saw this thread... I was thinking to myself today, what would I have to do to get Bullitt wheels on my 05. I ordered no wheel upgrades at all, the regular painted aluminum wheels.

So I'm doing research at the ford website, and I am looking at standard and optional wheels on the 05 here: http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/mustang/features/

Lo and behold, the STANDARD PAINTED ALUMINUM WHEELS are Bullitts.

Check it, here are the standard wheels:

Here are the upgrades:

I'll be bringing that to my dealer's attention if I don't have bullitts when the car show s up.

AS to the dealer option wheels with Spinners (or Knockoffs as we used to call them) I checked on them today at my local Ford Dealer. They are listed as 5 spoke GT Wheels 17x8 .. look like bullits but are all chrome. The include Pony Spinner and lugnuts. List was quoted as 285 per. I wrote down the part number but misplaced it.. if your interested I can dig it up.
NOw I just need ot find out IF I can just get the PONY Spinners for my Std GT wheels.

Curious is any V6 owners with Spinners can tell me if they will interchange with the bullits.

P.S. they are available in argent and black as well.

The dealer I just bought from would not trade the machined 17's for the bullits. He said they are not coming in anymore. He offered to sell me an OEM set of wheels for $800 (his cost) for 4 (no tires). It appears the bullits are "becoming" the upgrade rims. Plus, can't get em on Ebay. The 18's on Ebay look good, but they are coming with that crappy Kumo and Faulken rubber on them. Good luck getting yours. Best, L.L.
