I have been looking at several Mustangs and ran across a 1966 Mustang GT.

The car has: original 289, auto, pony deluxe interior, air conditioning, front bench seat, power steering, front disc brakes.

The current owner is the 2nd owner. Price would be right around $10,500.

Is this a decent price?

Pictures for reference:

the interior colors, multitude of superfluous options, and automatic transmission would be a deal breaker for me, but i'm a minimalist when it comes to a hotrod. good luck in your search.

If it checks out to be a solid car, it could be a really good buy. Check out all the numbers and make sure the door tag matches the VIN stamped into the drivers side fender apron. Remember there are more GTs now then when Ford built them. Also, that gas pedal has got to go, it's giving me really bad flashbacks!

If its a solid car, then its probably worth what he is asking. I think the bench seat with armrest is cool. I'm not big on the colors though.

If it is numbers matching and "solid" then the asking price is appropriate... even on the good side considering the "2nd Owner" status.. again only if that is accurate. But man, that red interior just kills me..
