Hello

I had to pull apart the front of my motor to fix my timing chains. Now that I'm re-assembling I just remembered that my coolant system needs to be primed but don't have the old Kenne Bell install guide. I'm running an older 1.7 KB with intercooler. Does anyone with a KB rememeber the steps to fill, prime and bleed the air out of the cooling system? Thanks

In my installation manual, I see (paraphrasing to save space...):

.
.
.
Step 243: At the top of the engine, pull up the driver's side hose from the heat exchanger and fill it with ~3/4 gallon of coolant.
Step 244: Install hose on manifold.
Step 245: Remove plug on driver's side hose fitting. Fill the intercooler until it runs out. Apply teflon tape to plug and re-install.
Step 246: Fill reservoir to the top with coolant.
.
.
.
Step 268: Turn the ignition key on and let the pump run for 5 minutes, then off for 5 and then on for 5. Refill the intercooler reservoir as needed. Do not let it suck air at any point.
Step 269: Once the system is primed you will see turbulent flow inside the reservoir with the ignition on. Turn the key on and off to see the difference if you're not sure.
