I just installed my PRO 5.0 and love it (it is definitly worth the money!). The only problem is that I found the handle to get loose on me. I bought some loctight (red) so I can make it stay in. I'm not sure if any of you guys had the same problem, and if you had any other better solutions? Thanks!

oh yeah heh, I know on my old mac shifter the handle (not knob) came loose. so I tightened it as tight as i could with out stripping it, then gave it to my friend. he hasnt had any problems with it since i gave it to him.
so are you sure you tightened the bolts good enough? (if its the handle)

Yup, I had the handle they (PRO 5.0) gave me. I was using a pair of plyers to tighten the screws up. The reason why I didn't use the allen key was my friend had borrowed my set and I had to cheap out with plyers. I got my key set back today and tightened them up. I also used a little loctite to make sure it stays in there. The right tools for the right job I guess.

Thanks for the advice and thanks to everyone else too!

yeah that happened to me with my ripper shifter in my 5.0 . i finally gave up and tried something stupid and ended up breaking it. i ordered a pro 5.0 and it never loosened up on me. after about a year, i serviced the tranny through the shifter hole and put it back on. a week later, the bolts came loose! then again a week later again LOL!

I had the same thing happen to mine when I installed it. You can put locktite on it if you want but all you really need is an allen wrench (hex head) and a pair of balls. Tighten the piss out of the two bolts and you'll be good to go; just make sure that you have the two lock nuts on there too.
