To be honest, I'm not real familiar with the face tooth engagment. But I've heard that the G-Force Helical dog ring cut trans can be shifted without the clutch. They don't recomend it, but I know a couple guys that do it.
So unless you want to spend some serious dollars on a real clutchless trans, I'd say this would be the way to go.
And as for using the clutch, all it takes it a tap and it will go in.
I ran a pro-shifted T-5 last year in NMRA Factory Stock and never missed a gear. (Knock on wood) And it was a Liberty Pro-shifted trans. Kind of surprised it lasted all year. Now if I only had the cash for a good G-Force.

Oh, you'll be able to shift with the foot on the floor. No doubt. But it will only take a tap of the clutch to make gear changes. And if you do any street driving, it will bang on the gear changes. But as I said to my dad, I don't hear that going down the track.

Yes... have liberty keep the 1st gear blocker ring for down shifts into first. easy street driving, you will need to learn how to " double clutch", bot for up shifts and down shifts !! for Power shifts.. keep the pedal to the floor and "crack the gears..." YES always use a clutch!!

I have been pro shifted for over 10 years driving and racing on the streets!! NEVER miss a gear again!! Have fun..

The trans gears are "pro-shifted" by Liberty, you will need to " double clutch" as there are NO sync. in the trans when driving casual on the street !! for the power shift.. use the clutch and it always engages!! IF you can build the trans your self.. call liberty and send your gears.. they will mod them and then you put them back in!! Saving a bazillion dollars.. ( at least)

Check out this thread on another site from an in car camera. He's using a pro-shifted trans. Don't know for fact if it's a G-force or not. But it's an NMRA Pure Street car running mid to low 10's.

Are you sure you want a sintered iron disc? Is that what they recomended?

No, he crossed in 4th but did his burnout in 3rd. Think he runs at least a 4.88 gear. Possibly higher.
