Since im taking my car in for a pro tune(there gonna be using my Tweecer), Is there anything I should tell them that they wouldn't know???? Like the spark_base_table has to mimic the spark_altitude_table, or should they know that already??? Any other stuff i should let the tuner know????Thanks!

If your going to get a pro tune, you going to want to sell the tweecer. The tuners are going to need to know the software. They are schooled in the software they use and will not know any of the specific quirks. They may have some tips for you but remember the Biggie with self tuning is SELF.

Anther thing to look for is if the tuner has a good working knowledge of the 94-95 eec. It is one of the harder to work with and understand of the eecs out there. If he has little exp. working with this "our eec" you will not be happy for spending all the money.

Your one foot in this and have been messing with it for a few months now...take a deep breath and start slow and learn the basics instead of trying to go for max power right off the bat with a tune.

or

just sell the tweecer and find a tuner in your area if your not wanting or dont have the time to learn it.

There sadly is no real middle ground. Also there is no shame in either choice. If you find it over your head AT LEAST YOU TRIED.

Do they make like a switch to switch from a Nitrous to a srteet tune??? Thats the main reason i went with the Tweecer. So even if the guy said he can use my software i shouldn't let him? Another thing when i told him i had a 95. He said he didn't have software or something to tune it. Untill i told him i had the Tweecer. Then he said he could...

Tuning is not all that unlike other things you use software for

You do get familiar with it and its quirks
also
The more you use it, the more efficient you'll become with it

On the other hand ..................

The pcm works like it works ....................

No matter which software you use to change its values

I think it is important to see if the tuner is comfortable with

1) Using your Tweecer
2) Working with the 94-95 pcm

Basically you are paying for a service.

You want good references from his past work
and
You want to know he will take care of you if ... what if happens

Hope it all works good for you

I just remembered
but
I can't remembered who

He was on here and had a Tweecer

He was gonna pay someone for a package kinda deal

Time on the dyno and a kind of hand holding show me thing all wrapped up in one session.

Again it was on here so you can find it with ease
