I purchased a set of LCA's from J&M last week and installed them on Saturday. Great looking arms, no instructions.

The arms were installed with the stickers toward the tires, this left the sway bar tabs on the inside edge of the arms. I installed the sway bar on the outside of the tabs thinking it was a change that was necessary. However, when mounting the sway bar this way, it was about 1/2" too wide--but it torqued down ok regardless.

I called J&M this morning and they said the stickers should go to the inside and the sway bar should be mounted on the inside.

For those with these arms installed, how did you install them? How is your sway bar mounted up (inside or outside), and did it have to be slightly pulled into place?

I noticed the sway bar hangs lower than it did before, but I assume this is normal.

i have the same setup, i could never get my sway bar to fit, so i had a steel pipe made and welded a flange on the end to it would bolt up.

very good lca's, really didn't need the sway bar anyway don't feel any difference what so ever but im not a road racer so my input might be useless

The anti-roll bar mounts need to be mounted toward the outside of the car so the bar mounts toward the center of the car and the bolts go through the mount and then into the bar just like factory. The anti-roll bar will hang down a little more than factory because the factory U-channel allows the bar to slide up into it and with the tubular arms you have to mount the bar below the main control arm tube.

I wasn't too concerned with how low the sway bay hangs, I did some research on LCA's for awhile before my purchase and knew this was normal.

The rear of the car sits higher than it did before as well, which works out well because my car is no longer slightly nose high.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd still buy the arms and recommend them to anyone. My only peeve at this point was the lack of instructions.

For now, I think I'm going to leave the arms as they are. I'll probably switch them around once I order and install SFC's.

How long ago did you order these arms? When we first released them we used to put the anti-roll bar plate in the middle of the arm to mount the bar on the outside but switched that about 2 years ago to match up with factory.

I would switch them around when you can. You have put added stress on the arms by forcing the anti-roll bar mounts outward.

Did you change anything else when you did the arms? I ask because we laser cut the tube and sink the spring seat in so they are in the factory location. Many customers change to poly spring isolators when they convert to our arms which will raise the car from the factory rubber.

I changed nothing else when I replaced the arms. They raised the rear of the car about 1/2"-3/4".
