Pro5.0 vs Steeda Tri-Ax for a T5?

I've had both, love the tri-ax on my tremec. Cant go wrong with either.

I know this wasn't one of the choices in your question, but have you considered a Kirban shifter? They advertise teh shortest shift throw....

Two of my friends currently use this shifter and have had no issues with it. It's cheaper than the Pro 5.0 and Tri-ax as well. I'm not dogging the others...I know they are great shifters, btu you might want to check out Kirban.

I'm pretty sure the pro 5.0 is shorter in height. It's a pretty short handle. I'm switching out my Hurst shifter for a pro 5.0 very soon. I'm not very happy with the hurst at all.

I think the Pro 50 is on top in terms of quality but I hate the pro's shifter handle.. to short.. I use the pro base with a blue thunder handle and it feels much better to me as far as handle placement.. but it's a personal choice in feel.

I've got a Tri-Ax and love it. If I ever need to buy another shifter that's what it'll be.

I've got the Pro 5.0 and its fine, but the slightly longer handle on the Tri-Ax and the tilt might make it a little easier in everyday driving.

I've had pro-5.0's on a t-5 and my current tko, they're very tight. I also agree though that a slightly longer handle feels better with them.

i broke my old tri ax shifting to 3rd, the handle broke right under the threads for the knob, i would go with a pro5.0 even though i dont like the handle position, i think the tri ax is crap
