Iight boys. I just got my stang back from the mechanic shop. I ended up puting a new cylinder head on it. The mechanic put it back together, and I drove it home. Put the mechanic told me that there is a crack in my exaust manifold, and one of my pulleys is bent. That pulleys kind of hard to explain. Anyway, the problem is that it lacks power. I thought for being a small car, and havin a 4 in it, it would push more than this. Any thing anybody can tell me, so that I can get my power back??

um...i'll say it before anyone else says it first.

they'll say its n/a so the only way your getting power is to drop in a TC motor. its just to expensive to mod this engine for the gains you recieve out of it.

BUT what you can still do, is CAI ( have to use some creativity with this since one isnt made for it ), replace your cracked exhaust manifold with a 95 ranger exhaust manifold ( its better, slightly, and its tubular design, alot lighter ), you could upgrade to 4.10's on your gears, though thats not much more of a gain since you have 3.73's, open your exhaust up ( delete the precat and put in a new cat in place of old one, or just delete altogether, run 2.5'' pipe and use a nice muffler of your choice ) do that if you REALLY want to.

but everyone says dont

Hey I won't tell people to NOT do bolt-ons...I just tell them that I've taken that route and it isn't really effective. On my old '90 I had a cold air intake, underdrive pulleys, long tube header, exhaust, etc. And it was still really slow.

You have to dig into the engine for any significant gains and by that time it's just more cost-effective to swap in the turbo engine.

it yields as much as i would expect it too. but still though, 105 to 125 is better than nothing, but its not that much faster than nothing.

ported head/camswap and if you wannna really just throw money at it, a 2.5 stroker crank...you may make it kinda quick n/a that way

10-15, maybe 20 tops.

Ditto, the only gain I noticed was top end RPMS was a little nicer. It's like Red said, you either have to do a 2.3T swap or break open the motor. You can also bolt a bottle on it as well but in the long run it's probaly cheaper to swap motors...also swap in a T5 if you got an A4LD.
